We were created to be in relationship, not only with God but with one another. When we gather and grow in our faith together, we experience life as God intended–in community. Spiritual transformation happens best when we join an authentic and caring group, centered on Scripture.
Rooted is your first step into community at Stateline Church. This 10-week small group experience is designed to help you connect with God, the church, and your purpose.
In a group of 10–15 people from different walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, pray together, serve, share stories, and practice spiritual rhythms that are foundational to following Jesus. These rhythms aren’t something new, they’re rooted in Acts 2 and the practices of the early church.
Each group is led by a trained facilitator who will walk alongside you throughout the experience and help you get the most out of your time together.

Stateline Small Groups meet in seasons throughout the year, creating a place for people to find and follow Jesus while being known and cared for. Groups gather regularly at the church, in homes, and in spaces throughout our community.

Do I need to attend Rooted before joining a Small Group?
Ideally, yes! When we create groups for Rooted, we would love to see that Group become an ongoing Small Group as you collectively build a solid foundation of biblical community and connection.
What do Small Groups do?
Small Groups meet regularly in homes and other locations around town to study God’s Word, primarily through our weekly sermon reflection questions, Right Now Media studies, and practicing the spiritual rhythms experienced through Rooted.
How often do Small Groups meet?
Small Groups tend to meet either weekly or bi-weekly on different days and times. Most groups meet for 10 weeks at a time with breaks built in throughout the year.
