Groups turn a crowd into a community.

“Groups Ministry is the best place to start at Stateline! It’s an opportunity to meet others who are new to the Church and start a connection with folks who love Jesus.”

+ John B.

We were created to be in relationship, not only with God but with one another. When we gather and grow in our faith together, we experience life as God intended–in community. Spiritual transformation happens best when we join an authentic and caring group, centered on Scripture.

Rooted is your first step into community at Stateline Church. Rooted is a 10-week small group experience designed to connect you to God, the church, and your purpose. Together, in a group of 10-15 people from all walks of life, you’ll explore the Bible, engage in prayer and serve experiences, share stories, and practice rhythms essential to a healthy spiritual life.

These spiritual rhythms aren’t new or something the church recently created, every one of them is found in Acts 2 where the early church began. We will provide you with a facilitator who is trained to come alongside your group to help you get the most out of the experience. Registration is currently closed. Stateline Small Groups meet for seasons of time to help people connect to Jesus and one another while being known and cared for. Groups gather consistently throughout the month, either at the church or in homes around the community.

This winter, our Small Groups will kick off alongside our all-church Follow Series, beginning the week of February 8th. Follow Groups begin the week of February 8th and run for 7 weeks, creating space to grow in your relationship with Jesus and build meaningful connections.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SMALL GROUPS

Do I need to attend Rooted before joining a Small Group?

Ideally, yes! When we create groups for Rooted, we would love to see that Group become an ongoing Small Group as you collectively build a solid foundation of biblical community and connection.

What do Small Groups do?

Small Groups meet regularly in homes and other locations around town to study God’s Word, primarily through our weekly sermon reflection questions, Right Now Media studies, and practicing the spiritual rhythms experienced through Rooted.

How often do Small Groups meet?

Small Groups tend to meet either weekly or bi-weekly on different days and times. Most groups meet for 10 weeks at a time with breaks built in throughout the year.
