FOLLOW Series – Frequently Asked Questions
Already in a Small Group?
Great news! All current Stateline small groups are participating in FOLLOW.
If you’re already in a small group, you’ll walk through Follow together with your group. There is no need to sign up for an additional Follow Group.
Not in a Small Group but want to join FOLLOW?
You’re in the right place. The first step is to sign up for a FOLLOW book. During that process, you’ll be asked if you’d like to join a 7-week FOLLOW Group.
If you choose to join a group, we’ll then share all the available FOLLOW Group options meeting at various times throughout the week so you can choose the one that works best for you.
Do I have to join a group to do the FOLLOW book?
No. While Follow Groups are a great way to walk through the content in community, the most important part is spending time with God. You can absolutely use the Follow book on your own without joining a group.
Are FOLLOW Groups only in person?
No. While many FOLLOW Groups meet in person, we also offer a few online FOLLOW Groups. Check the group options to see what works best for you.
Who is FOLLOW for?
Follow is for 6th grade through adults.
- Students (6th–12th grade): FOLLOW Groups meet Wednesdays at 6:00 pm in the Stateline Student Space.
- Young Adults (ages 18–29): FOLLOW Groups meet Thursdays at 6:00 pm in the South Auditorium.
- All other ages and stages: Men’s, women’s, mixed, and online groups are available throughout the week.
Does my Small Group have to meet every week?
No. Small groups can adjust their meeting rhythm during Follow. Some groups may meet every week, while others may keep their existing schedule. The most important part of Follow is each person spending time with God through the personal devotionals, then bringing that experience into group discussion.
Do I need my own FOLLOW book?
Yes. FOLLOW books are designed to be used individually and are not meant to be shared between spouses or friends. Each participant should have their own book.
What if I can’t afford a FOLLOW book?
We don’t want cost to be a barrier. If you’re unable to pay for a FOLLOW book, we will cover the cost for you. Email us at info@stateline.church.
Can I buy a FOLLOW book for someone else?
Yes. When purchasing your Follow book, you’ll have the option to gift a book to someone who may not be able to afford one.
